Warnings: Severe Thunderstorm Warning
Rating: S3

At 4:30 P.M., our temperature was 99 degrees. At 4:45 P.M., our temperature was 74 degrees. This storm was part of a slow moving squall-line that developed right on top of us. The storm brought very heavy rain and some absolutely incredible lightning. One bolt had simultaneous thunder. The storm also brought some near 50 mph wind gusts. The slow movement of the squall line meant that the storm lasted for over an hour. Needless to say, it also brought some relief from the heat.
