Finally, a storm in the daytime! It seems that every storm this season has ocurred after dark...until today. Some rumbles of thunder are what initially brought me out for a look. A cumulonimbus tower was going up to the east and was rapidly developing into a thunderstorm. It appeared to be nearly stationary or moving slowly away to the south. There were some interesting clouds and nice streaks of lightning before the storm collapsed. I later heard that this storm produced damaging hail in Donelson, which is located just a few miles to our east. The hail was large enough to damage cars.
