Warnings: Severe Thunderstorm and Tornado Warning
Rating: S4

This storm blew up out of nowhere in the very warm and moist air. It moved slowly southeast through Davidson county. There was very intense lightning as the storm approached. Then a low bank of incredibly rapidly rotating clouds moved over! Right at that time, a Tornado Warning was issued! We let the storm pass, then we jumped in the car and followed it. We drove east on I-40 to Percy Priest Dam, where it was apparent that the storm was getting away and we decided to head back home. I can't believe what happened. A wall cloud actually passed directly over our house!! Needless to say, it was a very dangerous situation, but it was AWESOME!!
