While we were visiting our cousins in northwest Ohio, a cold front moved in from the northwest. The front ran into some very hot and muggy air, and a squall line developed. The line was just beginning to become strong when it hit us. There were some really nice streaks of lightning as the storm approached. Right as the storm hit, there was an absolutely blinding sheat of rain blowing horizontal in a 60 MPH wind gust. After that, there was some heavy rain and thunder before the storm moved on.
