On the early morning of January 22, a monster storm barreled directly toward the town a Clarksville, TN. The storm was moving to the northeast. At exactly 4:10 A.M. the tornado hit. It ripped right through downtown. The tornado, rated at F4, was very similiar, both in size and strength, to the tornado that hit Jackson, Tennessee only 5 days earlier.

Today, just three days later, we surveyed the destruction. From looking at the damage, the tornado was about 300 to 400 yards wide, and it was very intense. It damaged many historical buildings in the downtown area. Here's a map of the tornado's path along with my pictures of the destruction.
